The Monstera deliciosa is incredibly forgiving and will tolerate all kinds of neglect including low light, poor soil, and inconsistent watering. This is a great first-time houseplant or gift for anyone who wants to enjoy the natural beauty of plants without a lot of maintenance

PLANT DETAILS

CARE

LIGHT

Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light.

PLANT BENEFIT

WATER

Water weekly, allowing the soil to dry out halfway down between waterings. Increase the frequency with increased light. Does best in higher humidity.

PLANT BIO

Native to the tropical forests of southern Mexico, the Monstera Deliciosa is a member of the Araceae family. However, unlike many of its relatives, the Monstera produces edible fruits, which, as you could probably guess from the name of the plant, are absolutely delicious! Although the fruits aren’t common when the plant is grown indoors, the large, perforated green leaves of the Monstera never fail to impress. With the plant climbing up from the forest floor in the wild, these natural cut-outs help to increase leaf spread and maximize sunlight exposure, therefore promoting growth.

With the Monstera adapting well to indoor environments, it’s easy to see why this stunning houseplant has been growing in popularity in recent years.

30 DAY GUARANTEE

If your plant dies within 30 days, we’ll replace it for free, no questions asked.
