Parlor Palms thrive in bright, indirect sun. Prolonged exposure to bright direct sunlight may burn and scorch their leaves. Ideally, place it somewhere with late afternoon direct sunlight.


Parlor Palms enjoys being watered weekly, allowing its soil to completely dry out between waterings to prevent overwatering and root rot. Depending on the temperature of your space this will vary! Parlor palms aren't picky, they do not have any particular humidity requirements and enjoy occasional misting.



Parlor Palms do not have any particular temperature requirements but will suffer if subjected to temperatures below 50ºF. 



Parlor Palms are non-toxic to both people and animals, suitable to be around small children and pets.


  • Yellowing tips that are turning brown with leaning fronds: indicates your Palm has been underwatered
  • Browning Leaves: suggest your plant has not been getting enough light or has been over-fertilized.
